Project Overview
Q&E Services was engaged for Building Surveying Services at Concord Business Park, Manchester. We were appointed by the client to undertake a Fire Risk Assessment Survey of the building, reviewing the fire compartment walls & fire doors within the premises, inspecting services penetrations through the building fabric ensuring they have the correct passive fire protection installed & fire dampers where required.
Following our survey, we then reviewed the configuration of the offices, calculating the gross internal floor area of the building & quantity of staff occupying the building to ensure the building had the correct number of fire exit routes, emergency lighting was correctly installed & any automated doors were linked to the fire alarm systems to ensure no impairments on any fire exit routes.
