Q&E Services was engaged to provide building surveying services at Miller & Carter, Liverpool. We undertook a detailed survey on the roof of the building with the assistance of a MEWP. Our surveying team cordoned off the working area and provided detailed risk assessments & method statement, along with a detailed traffic management plan to prevent unauthorised access into the working area for the duration of the survey.
Our chartered building engineer & junior surveyor was able to promptly identify the defects on the roof & recommended remedial action within our detailed report to undertake isolated repairs to the roofing substrate & internal cosmetic repairs. These works were undertaken out of working hours to minimise disruption to the business & restore the restaurant to its full operational capacity.
